Recalls that an international university, Estam University, honored Lateef with a Doctor of Philosophy in Arts and Culture. According to the university, the award is to celebrate his exceptional talent and tremendous achievements in the movie industry.

She showered praise on him, describing him as her doctor emeritus, and thanked him for always making her proud.
