Afrobeats musician Davido has been the subject of ongoing criticism from Nigerian singer Dammy Krane, who collaborated with Street Pop sensation Portable to create a single.

The two musicians have been at odds since Dammy Krane claimed in October 2023 that Davido had failed to pay him royalties for their 2017 joint effort, “Pere.” Following Davido’s denial of the accusations, the two musicians started hurling insults at each other on social media.
In the early hour of today, November 1st, Dammy Krane and Portable were spotted together in a studio recording a new song.
Fans speculate that the song is a diss track aimed at Davido, following Dammy Krane’s previous allegations that Davido owes him money.
