“Shebi dem be close friends”-Crew members hold back Iya’badan from ‘fighting’ Bose Akinola over unpaid debt on movie set [VIDEO]

• Rukayat Lawal almost got out physical with her colleague, Bose Akinola while they were on a movie set.
• It’s started with Iya Ibadan who was already in her costume stating that she wasn’t going to do anything except she gets paid fully.

She revealed she got only five hundred Naira out of her five hundred thousand Naira charge from Bose Akinola which led many to believe that the claims were a joke.In response Akinola who also played along, dared her not to play her part, stating that at least she got paid.

Nigerian film actress and filmmaker, Bose Akinola and her colleague, Rukayat Lawal, better known as Iya Ibadan, have playfully fought on a movie set over unpaid debt.

Iya Ibadan posted a video of herself and Bose via Instagram engaging in a playful argument over Bose’s refusal to pay her for featuring in the latter’s movie.

   

Iya Ibadan, who is a close friend of the filmmaker, said the Idajo Owo producer paid her N500 out of the N500,000 she was supposed to get for featuring in her film. She also shared a receipt of the N500 payment Bose made to her.

 

In the video, the women could be seen exchanging words, as Iya Ibadan vowed not to continue filming until she got her payment in full.

 

Captioning the funny video, Rukayat wrote:

“This 2024 I No Go Gree For Anybody Seh. Ise logun ise Mura si ise ore mi. I put a lot of effort to get to where I am today. So I know where it hurts when I say it hurts…

“I intentionally waited for today that if you do not pay me I won’t be on your set. And to my surprise @akinboss12 credited me #500 out of #500k I requested for, there is no friendship in business but when our little effort is appreciated then the urge to discharge our duties won’t be rivaled.

I’m using this parliamentary medium to call Bose Akinola out to pay my balance. I NO GO GREE FOR ANYBODY this 2024
